Day 1 Update

Hey yall,

Don’t be mad at me because I only have insight from one site...Buenos Aires 2....which is working in the area of Berazategui.  We had breakfast and a team devotional at 8:30am and then broke up for ministry throughout the day.  My team just got back.  Most of the other teams are already in bed, but the words I am hearing from a few stragglers are words like...awesome, I got to lead someone to Christ, the people are so open, I love this place, my translator is so cool, etc.

I will give you the scoop on BA 2s day...

Service in the morning...very eye opening.  They were passionate for God.  Some students led drama and Testimonies.

Lunch...Good food,…………..!

Witnessing...I wish I could take some pics of this but it was advised against.  We went door to door.  I loved it.  16 people became Christians today in our site alone.  I am not sure yet about the other locations.  Tomorrow our team will begin to follow up on them.

Park Ministry...We invited people to some upcoming events this week and followed up on people after an evangelistic presentation.

Share time...We answered questions from the church members there about ministry in the US.  We admitted to them that they should not imitate us.  Their

commitment level to ministry and growth is much greater than ours.  The majority of their members come and serve.  Our students are realizing that American Christianity is often watered down and focused on ourselves instead of God and others.

Prayer time...We prayed in groups with our translators and people from the church. it was cool hearing different languages as we prayed.

Dinner...pizza.  No lie.  Was good but not as good as the beef here.

Arrive back at 11pm

Now I am going to bed.   Tomorrow I will be going to a different site.

By the way, Natalie and heather are fine.  Amanda is still resting but there is nothing wrong with her lungs.  Keep praying for her.  The Daniels family arrived safely this am as well, in case your reading this Roger.

Loveth,                  eric
